MASIS became a Registered Charity in 2012 and it has continued to collaborate and network with other charities and service providers at both a regional and national level. MASIS has received and continues to receive extensive on-line publicity.

Since 2012 MASIS has also exhibited at national disability events, established associations with or advised certain central and regional government bodies, healthcare service providers as well as law enforcement and academic sector establishments.

MASIS can assure visitors to its new look website that the charity remains keen to establish and develop more such associations in the future.

MASIS FORGETS THE DISABILITY,

REMEMBERS INCLUSION AND EQUALITY !

Peter Lyne is the Founder of Mobility and Support Information Service (MASIS) which was awarded Registered Charity status in 2012.

He has been involved with voluntary work (most of which is associated with healthcare and disability related subjects) for over 30 years.

During the 13 year period (2004 to 2017) when serving as National Vice-President of another former registered charity he undertook advisory roles on numerous Central and Welsh Government forums either at the Palace of Westminster, BMA House, Portcullis House or at other venues selected by the Welsh Government. He has been the recipient of several awards either from certain healthcare sector organisations or other government associated establishments which have focussed on the healthcare, social inclusion and equality of disabled people and their carers.

He continues to undertake professional advisory roles at certain universities and is assisting senior academics at a Northwest of England university with the development and content of a Master's degree course in mental health nursing.
